What is intuitive eating?

There are so many definitions of intuitive eating out there. The one that resonates with me the most is to alleviate the suffering from dieting and diet culture.

 After taking that statement in, close your eyes for a moment and imagine you are walking on a beautiful clear path surrounded by flourishing trees. Up ahead you see a sign that says this path will provide freedom away from the suffering that dieting and diet culture have caused. This path will then lead to 10 other paths and these are the 10 principles of intuitive eating. Intuitive eating – the pathway (s) out of suffering. If you had access to these paths, would you explore them?

 I know it can be scary to take one more unknown path. What I can offer you on the other side of this is peace, acceptance, and more space for you to do the things you’ve wanted to fill your cup with rather than following another diet leading to more suffering. This self-care framework way of eating can provide freedom within your mind and body.
